Currently looking for a HTML Programmer. Candidates must
have a background in web site management and development,
including HTML newsletter creation and basic graphics
editing and creation. The HTML Programmer will develop,
plan, coordinate, execute and provide support in
HumanConcepts' web site maintenance and creation. Looking
for a self-motivated person who is able to work quickly
to implement changes and manage multiple requests from
different departments within the organization. The
responsibilities of the HTML Programmer include: •
Serving as the in-house web master, making all HTML edits
across all corporate web properties • Managing change
requests delivering expedient and accurate updates to the
web site • Ensuring the compliance with W3C standards
across all corporate web pages • Performing QA on HTML

Labor Editor and Writer - Foster City, CA

A union newspaper serving San Mateo County seeks a
part-time editor and writer to produce monthly 8-12 page
tabloid newspaper (20 pages in September). The editor is
responsible for reporting and writing news stories and
commentaries, editing columns and features by other
writers, taking and securing photographs, layout (using
Pagemaker), working with the printer, and some management
and administrative responsibilities. The position is
currently budgeted for 65-70 hours a month. Pay is based
on experience and union-scale at Bay Area newspapers. The
successful candidate should have journalism or labor
communications experience and a commitment to the union
movement. Hours are flexible and some telecommuting is
possible. The editor reports to a board of directors.

ART DIRECTOR

An Art Director is needed for two of its award-winning
children's magazines, for children ages 3-7 & 6 months to
3 years. This person will design, provide art direction,
and manage production as well as direct the design and
production of both mags. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, preferably BFA in Design or related
field. Five years of experience in design and thorough
knowledge of design for young children's magazines or

top-notch skills in designing and producing electronic
files using Quark, Photoshop, and Illustrator, as well as

Development Manager - Thailand

Looking for an experienced and energetic development
manager who is up to the challenge of managing a project
in a foreign land. The job will be in Bangkok, Thailand
and will be for 18 months. The project involves taking an
existing mainframe centric system and moving it over to a
J2EE environment. The development manager will be
reporting to the VP of development and will be working
with the Project Architect consultant. Compensation is in
Thai Baht and includes a furnished apartment. Applicants
must be ready to start in December 2003. The salary level

Responsibilities: Manage a development team of 8-16
people. Developers will be Thai nationals with English as
