What are the best design museums in London?

Like tate madern, The design museum, and even things like the science museum which all have designy things. I am doing a graphic design degree and I am going to London tomorrow to try and get some inspiration. Any ideas?

Graphic design question...?

Hey, I'm doing a project for my intro to graphic design class where we have to create an animal using only font, letters and all other characters. My teacher provided a site called www. bemboszoo.com, but it requires flash with I don't have and don't want to download because it is my work's computer and I don't have one at home. So my question is where can I find sites that have examples for this type of thing, I know they use it in ads of course, are their any sites I can look at? I'm just having trouble with inspiration, I need more exmaples!! Thanks so much!

Graphic Design or Illustration?

Sometimes, fine are and illustrations have always caught my interest. Graphic Design on the other hand catches my interest sometimes. But combining them both always gave me a huge inspiration. It's like putting two different light bulbs together and making a really bright light.

I have always done art related to illustration. From drawing to using digital paint, heck, even do quite a little bit of design. I have always thought learning both fields would increase my skills, and give me more opportunities to find different jobs.

Right now, I'm currently in Animation. I started majoring in it a year ago because I wanted to take some classes that would help me learn how to use digital paint, but after realizing that it was easy, I found out that this would be something I could learn on my own.

I want to increase my knowledge more on the design part so I can already put that on my list of what I know how to do. So, after realizing this, I was thinking about either transferring to AI of Seattle and major in Graphic Design, or go to AI of Atlanta since that's the only AI that has an Illustration major.

But if Atlanta is the only area that has an Art Institute that carries a illustration major, doesn't that say something? Maybe GD is where the money is at today.

So should I major in Illustration or Graphic Design? Again, I love to combine the two together, and illustrating seems to be a little bit easy to handle, and I did said that I want to learn more about design so I can have the knowledge on both of these fields.
