URGENT! NEED HELP proof read my scholarship essay~~PLEASE HELP ME!?
NEED HELP BAD!!
I am an aviation student and I am trying to write an essay for NetJets Scholarship
I need to write 500 word essay on my Goals and Career Interests in Aviation and A Brief Statement of my Financial Need(s) and Situation
I NEED PEOPLE PROOF READ THIS, PLEASE PLEASE
change all my grammar mistakes or maybe change some of my wording, because I am an international student
Here it is
My name is Chung-Chiang Kao, I am a senior at Ohio State University. I am major in Aviation Management and Operations Management though the Fisher College of Business. And at same time, I am currently taking flight training at Ohio State University Flight School with about 70 hours of total flight time. I have chosen this academic degree to achieve my short-term goal to become an airport manager. At same time I will keep taking flight training and hopefully become a commercial airlines pilot as my ultimate career goal.
First to show that I am passionate about aviation; I am an active member of Alpha Eta Rho (co-ed aviation fraternity), we always seek the opportunity to educate more people about the aviation industry. I took the board member position for the Aviation Spring Conference, trying to attract more people to interest in aviation. I also helped to found the OSU chapter of American Association of Airport Executives. I volunteer to conduct airport tours for younger kids at Ohio State University Airport, hopefully to inspire them to want to learn more about aviation.
Since when I was young, whenever there is an airplane in the sky, I will always look up and wish that I can do it some days. As an immigrant from Taiwan, I did not have any opportunity to learn anything about aviation. Pilot is almost impossible to become because of lack of aviation school and flight school. Until I moved to the United States, I discovered that anything is possible if you pursuit your dream. I am currently living my dream right now from flying airplanes. If my financial allow, I would like to get my instrument rating, CPL and CFI. I have been taking more than 6 classes (20 credit hours) for the past 3 quarters, so I don’t have much time to work. But since I am an extremely hard working student, my GPA for the past 3 quarters is average around 3.5.
My goal is to make the aviation environment better and safer. Aviation is a unique industry; airports and airlines are struggling to make profit or even not lose any money. Also I want to let more people know about how great aviation industry is and draw more people to help to make the industry better. I hope after finishing reading this essay, you’ll have a picture of who I am. Thank you for your time and your consideration.
My father was providing my tuition because my mother doesn’t earn enough money. Due to family problems, my father no long will pay for my tuition. As the result, my mother will need to provide tuition for me and both of my sisters. And I need to start working to pay for my own living cost and flight training. Flight training is extremely expensive for a college student. Also, I have been taking more than 6 classes (20 credit hours) for the past 3 quarters, so I don’t have much time to work. Another reason that I am taking so many classes is because hopefully I can graduate earlier by cramming all the class together. By graduating earlier, I can save some tuition money. It will be extremely helpful if I have the money I need to take flight training so I can worry more about school instead of worry about money issue.

Since I was a young man, whenever I see an airplane in the sky, I dream of the day I could be in control of these magnificent beasts. Before ariving in America from Taiwan, I did not have an opportunity to learn anything about aviation. Becomming a pilot is an almost impossible dream because of the lack of aviation/flight schools in the country. Since my arival in this wonderful country, I have discovered that anything is possible if you pursue your dream. I am currently living a small part of my dream flying civil aircraft. If my finances allow I would like to get my instrument rating, CPL and CFI. I have been taking more than 6 classes (20 credit hours) for the past 3 quarters, so I don’t have much time to work. However since I am an extremely hard working student, my GPA for the past 3 quarters is around 3.5.

My parents have been paying my tuition, along with that of both my sisters. However recent problems have meant that I am now forced to pay my own living cost and for my flight training. Flight training is extremely expensive and a massive burden for a college student. As I said earlier I have been taking more than six classes for the past three quarters. I have undertaken this high workload in the hope I can graduate earlier and some tuition money. It would be of immesurable help if I could raise the money I need to continue flight training thus allowing me to concentrate more on my school work and less on money issue.
I hope after finishing reading this essay you’ll have a picture of who I am - a man with a dream and a desire to change the aviation industry for ever. Thank you for your time and your consideration.

I am in desperate need of someone to proof read my scholarship essay. Here it is.
The year was 2004 and it was my High School's graduation ceremony. I sat with my classmates in the school's auditorium unaware of what the future may hold for me. Until that time, I never thought about the future. All I knew was that the struggles my family went through to come to this country and find work made me more confident and ready too accomplish my goals of exploring the world and its various cultures.
Fortunately, I have great parents who have taken me to different countries to explore an array of various cultures. In Paris I was inspired by the Eiffel Tower; in Spain we stayed in Madrid and I witnessed a bull fight. My uncle owns a wine vineyard in Italy and I was given the opportunity to taste the grapes that grew near his home. Rome was historically mystifying; stepping into the coliseum where many important events took place captivated me. I saw how the hard work of my parents enabled me to experience the world.
My parents struggled to save for me and my three siblings so we could be provided with things that were never available to them. My mother was an indentured servant practically since she was born. Her family could not afford to raise her and felt she would live a better life being a servant to a wealthier family. She was not taught to read or write, and her sole purpose was to cook and clean. My father’s hard work and my mother’s drive to learn despite her suffering truly inspires me
My major is Political Science and I enjoy it simply because I know that I can use it to make a difference and enable me to help those in need. Together with the support of my parents and my experience at Lehman College it has made me see that knowledge is the key to success. Studying abroad in Athens Greece would help me deepen my academic and personal understanding of classical greek culture. Greece is the birth place of democracy; it has a compelling history of government. Being that I am a political science major given the opportunity to study there and learn more about its past would be a most rewarding experience .After this study abroad winter session I intend on pursuing a career in immigration law. I have gained some prior knowledge in politics through my internship with the New York State Attorney Generals Office as a mediator working with people from many cultures.
It would be an honor to receive the STOCS Scholarship. I am a hard working individual who has so much potential and I strive for success in whatever I do. Attending college has strained my family’s finances, but luckily they recognize the importance of my education. This trip to Greece would be a learning voyage for me and will allow me to utilize my education and interpersonal skills. Thank you for your consideration.

Hi
You desribe your mother's circumstances very well but say nothing concerning your Father.
Unfortunately too many people are cynical and may see this as an attempt to hide something. Maybe a few words about his background would help.As a reader I was interested in how your mother's circumstances changed and was left wondering. Again, a little more information might help.
On a pedantic note I do not think much of historical interest happened in the Colisseum (except a lot of killing) so you might leave that bit out!
Good luck and only choose to be a lawyer if you have a thick skin.
All the best

Proof read my scholarship essay plzzzzzzzz!!?
My name is John, Oxbahehi Currently I’m studying aviation flight technology program In Mercer County College. I don’t have any background in my family, and never thought of going to college or being a pilot. At this moment, I’m the first Private Pilot among all of my friends and relatives, very soon in the future; I will become a Airline pilot. I’m glad that I have this kind of opportunity and I certainly treasure that everything that I’m having right now
Unfortunately, aviation path weren’t easy for me at the beginning. Before I join the aviation program, I found that I’m red and green color deficiency, and I was crestfallen for weeks, but I never give up because I believed that all things are difficult before they are easy. After all the researches, and making a lot phone call. Things has changed, I found an Ophthalmology doctor that he could proof that, my color deficiency wouldn’t affect my flying. He gave me a colorblindness test and I passed it, so he waived the limitation on my medical certificate.
Finally, I’ve successfully join the aviation program and flying become part of my life. Even sometime I’m not smart enough to assimilate some materials, but I’m willing to do extra works. Currently I’m maintaining my GPA above 3.00 and I’ve been holding my Private Pilot Certificate for almost 3 months. And I took the advantage of good weather during the summer, now I’m in the middle of the commercial training and my deadline to finish it by the at end of this semester, this way I can give myself more time for instrument training. My plan is to complete this program at the end next summer.
Two major requirements to become a professional pilot are patient and perseverance. Everything relates to flying, I’m always patient and pay extra attention, because right decision making is very important for a professional pilot. My biggest virtue is perseverance; because I will sacrifice everything to achieve my goal. My parents they consider that as stubborn. Every time when I fly I feel like airplane is my family member and sky as my home. I really enjoy every moment that I spend with them. I’ve been flying constantly, For the past thirteen months I spent most of my money on flying. I’m trying to save some money, also apply for every scholarship that I can. I believe that at least I will be approve by one of them. This way, I’ll have enough money to complete my instrument training and I don’t want to stop flying just because of any reasons..
After I finish this program, I’ll start looking for a job, It doesn’t matter where I have to go, how much money I’ll be making, as long as I can fly and build up my hours, everything will be worth it at the end. At the mean while, I will take some online classes at Thomas Edison State College for my Bachelor’s degree. But not always things will follow as we plan, so my other option is to get a Flight Instructor Certificate and an Airframe and Powerplant certificate, which will benefit me to find a job. I’m definitely sure that there are always jobs out there, and it all depended on how much afford we put on and are we willing to sacrifice one thing for others. My main goal is to become a captain for Delta Airline before I turn age of 40, because I took my first ride with them. I know everything doesn’t sound easy, but many people did it and why not me?

Robert asks…
can u proof read my scholarship essay, its why do u deserve a scholarship?
Trying to figure out how to pay for school when you decide to go is very stressful. Receiving a scholarship would help me tremendously with my goal of going to school. The reasons I deserve a scholarship are cost, furthering my career, and to achieve goals I have set for myself.
I need this scholarship first off because I can not afford to pay my tuition out of my own pocket. I made to much last year to receive federal aid. With a house payment, car payment, and other bills, I live paycheck to paycheck with little to no money left over. My family doesn't make enough to help me with any of the costs of tuition. My only other option is to take out student loans.
Currently I work as a temporary at the Honda factory for the past two years. With the way the economy is heading towards a recession and Honda closing the motorcycle plant here in Ohio, I do not think that they will be hiring for full time associates for at least a few years. I don't want to work on the assembly line for four more years living paycheck to paycheck with no benefits or chance of actually getting hired by Honda. I want to get into the medical field for job security and having benefits like insurance and starting a retirement account for my future. Even with a possible recession, jobs in the medical field are expected to keep growing.
I am a very motivated and goal oriented person. Whenever I set a goal for myself I do whatever I can to achieve that goal. I've set the goal for myself at this stage in my life to go to school to help me be where I want to be in ten years. I will have to go to school in the morning and continue to work full time at night. I know this will be hard and have no illusions that it will be easy, but I know that it will pay off in the long run because I will be able to get a job where I work better hours for more pay with benefits. I know that without going to school I will never get ahead in life and will continue to live how I am living right now, and that's not how I want to be in ten years.
Winning a scholarship would be the best thing for me. It would help ease the burden of paying for school. It would also help advance me to a better career field and help me realize my goals I've set for myself. These are just a few reasons why I think I deserve a scholarship to help me with attending Clark State.

Grammar needs a lot of work. It is too wordy. It is not organized. Check your homonyms ("to" versus "too").
1) Tell who you are and what you do.
2) Tell why you need the scholarship
3) Tell what you will do with the education.
The last part is most important. Show that you're not just in it for the money. A little altruism goes a long way.
As an example, "This scholarship will enable me to achieve my dream/goal/desire of being a _____________ so I can help people with/overcome ________."
By the way, the economy is not heading for a recession, just so you know.
In addition, there's nothing wrong with student loans. I used them to finish my undergrad and for grad school, and I'm paying them back. Not a big deal, and less than 4% of my net income.
