Data Analyst - Programmer (contract position)

Job Summary:

$24.57 per hour - Bachelors Degree in computer science or related field. Contract until January 2009. 3-5 years experience would be ideal.

Description of project:

Do you have prior Data Analyst experience?
Expertise in SQL and/or VB Script and/or XML programming?

Manager is interested in candidates with an excellent programming background - Clinical experience is not necessary.

The Data Management Analyst will be responsible for the DMA Study set-up. The selected individual will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and validating systems solutions in support of clinical trials within the designated data management platform. Data management systems solutions produced with speed, accuracy, and consistency are essential to worldwide Medical in order to plan appropriately for clinical trials and meet quality/speed drug development goals.

Data management solutions that accurately capture data collected in clinical trials are essential to the customer for efficient pooling of data, data analysis, and the merging of databases.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in study design meetings
• Design, develop, and code systems solutions with ClinTrial 3
• Test and validate all systems solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• ClinTrial and/or Inform tools preferred
• SQL, and/or VB Script and/or XML programming expertise
• Using / accessing relational databases (i.e. Oracle)
• Familiarity with business integrator concepts
• Familiarity with structured development methodology (i.e. design, development, testing, code review and validation).
