How do I choose the right person for the job?
The best candidate for the job will not always be the cheapest. Although, that will seem like the best option, it isn't usually the best.
The freelancer who has the right mix of experience, qualifications and price will be the best person for the job.
You should contact every applicant!
Even though there may be only one perfect candidate for your job, it is common courtesy to send a message to every applicant. They took the time to apply for your job, a simple "Sorry, your application has been unsuccessful" will look good.
Make sure you take the time to reply to every applicant, even if they are under qualified for the position.
What is the Job Tracker?
The job tracker will list every project you have posted and all the applicants. Take the time to familiarize yourself with it. It is the key element of your Employers account.
Keep your profile up to date
Your profile is the key to applicants tailoring their needs to suit you. Make sure you keep all information necessary in it. However, don't include personal contact information, or any other contact information.
Use the "Messaging System" to contact candidates
To keep the hiring process as simple and as streamlined as possible, please keep all correspondence between yourself and candidates and potential employees inside the FWE Messaging System.
