Job Summary:

REA (Ricklin-Echikson Associates) Career Services provides career consulting to trailing spouses when they are relocated. State of Georgia only.

Description of project:

PART-TIME CAREER CONSULTANT- INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR - STATE OF GEORGIA ONLY

Recruiting for consultants in GEORGIA to provide career counseling, usually by telephone, to people in the relocation process [80% female / 20% male client population.] Willing to conduct some training and face-to-face counseling as needed. Program services are tailored to meet the individual needs of relocating clients and include acclimation information, skills assessment, resume and cover letter development, job market research, networking techniques, interview preparation, and salary negotiation.

Skill requirements:

• Requires 2+ years experience in Career Development / Counseling
• Applicants currently working full-time will not be considered.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Applicants with a private practice and/or who are working part time are encouraged to apply
• Has an office setup: computer, fax and email
• Comfortable working with clients on the telephone
• Very familiar with the Internet
• Willing to take several clients a month; flat fee per client billable after consultant completes core components of the program.
• Requires a lot of flexibility; should be available to speak with clients days/nights/weekends, if necessary
• Comfortable being proactive and working with a diverse array of clients
• Comfortable with supervision; initial extended-training period.
