Job Summary:
PNWER is seeking a contract Project Manager to identify and convene stakeholder groups in Western Canada to identify barriers and propose solutions to US-Canada labour mobility.
Description of project:
The Pacific NorthWest Economic Region (PNWER) is in need of a contract Project Manager to organize and facilitate the PNWER Labour Mobility Initiative activities in Western Canada (BC, Alberta, and Yukon). Utilizing the convening power of PNWER, a taskforce will be developed to address three specific issues.
- What specifically are the barriers to addressing the labour shortages in western Canada?
- Who are the key stakeholders that should be engaged to develop bi-national solutions?
- What specific actions can be implemented to alleviate these current and projected shortages?
The consultant will work with the task force to organize and manage all required project activities in western Canada as well as prepare a final report for distribution.
