Director of Music Ministry Worship Leader

Job Summary:

Develop and direct a multicultural music program that blends traditional and contemporary sacred music, using vocal, choral and instrumental musicians.

Description of project:

• Coordinate with the Pastor to design and implement music ministry for our multicultural worship that brings glory to Father Son and Holy Spirit.
• Work cooperatively with the Worship Team for the general planning and development of the music program including development of the ministry plan (budget).
• Administer the music ministry budget as approved by the Session, and purchase all necessary music and music supplies, and hire special musicians for special events and services.
• Oversee a nurturing music ministry that recruits and trains people for the music program and develops volunteer music leadership.
• Oversee maintenance of the music library and musical instruments.
• Work cooperatively with the other staff in development of musical components of the after school enrichment program for children and youth and families.

The compensation to be determined by hours and experience. ¾ time minimum $24,000.
