Refer Customers to Travel Agency

Job Summary:

Job Description: Refer potential customers (individuals and/or groups) to a travel agency by getting them to call a toll-free number where their inside agents will take care of closing the sale and handling the booking details. In exchange for providing this service, you receive a portion (20%) of the commission earned by the agency. (Please note that the majority of agencies only pay 15%.) The referral agent also typically books his or her personal travel through the agency and receives a commission on that as well (a sort of "rebate" or "discount" in effect). Job Qualifications: As a referral agent, you don not have to know a great deal about the mechanics of the travel industry. Your job is to communicate the fun and excitement of travel, and to get people to call/e-mail/fax. Please note that they only sell cruise and vacation packages.
