PR Guru needed for new online brand

We’re looking for a PR Guru to help generate awareness and buzz around our brand. We're looking to use PR to build credibility and enhance the “viral-ness” of our campaigns.

In support of Razoo’s impending launch, we’re looking for a PR Guru to help generate awareness and buzz around our brand. PR will be an important component of our marketing efforts, as we look to build credibility and enhance the “viral-ness” of our campaigns.

About Razoo: Razoo is a social-networking platform, uniting people around social good. Think MySpace with a conscience. Razoo members learn, connect and take action around causes and issues they care about. In a nutshell, we’re using Web 2.0 tools for a higher purpose – doing our part to make the world a little bit better. Skill requirements:

Our ideal PR partner will:

  • Be experienced in driving awareness in both the online and offline worlds (e.g, engaging bloggers as well as traditional media)
  • Have an extensive network of both online and offline media contacts
  • Have success in executing events-based campaigns
  • Have a proven track record of generating awareness among the 20-something audience
  • Be familiar with and experienced in the social good/ non-profit space
  • Be capable and willing to wear two hats:
    1. Strategic, creative idea-generator
    2. Detail-oriented implementer
  • Be a freelance PR professional, with at least 8 years of successful campaign experience. We will consider agencies only if they’re innovative, nimble, and highly engaged in guerilla/grassroots PR.
