This website is intended to be a resource containing tips and practical advice on sexual health. The overarching statement for this website is, "Helping people make positive life choices."

Description of project:

Style guide - Articles may be written in an attractive, 'tongue-in-cheek' style, but ultimately there should be an underlying health message or moral to the story. - The writer's tone must not be condescending, but must be able to sustain readers' interest. - Use plain, simple English as far as possible. Roles - Write and update copy for the home page and secondary sections of the website. - Write new articles, starting with 20 articles when website is launched, and an additional 2 articles per month. Articles can be adapted from www.hpb.gov.sg - Update and edit existing articles. The copywriter may consult Health Promotion Board (HPB) experts when writing articles, especially where medical information is concerned. - Write a monthly Sex "Horoscope" for each Zodiac sign. The copywriter may adapte messages from existing horoscopre predictions taken from website and books, but must ensure no copyrights are abused. - Write a disclaimer for the Horoscope section.

Skill requirements:

Assessment of copywriter - Each writer must submit a short article, not more than 500 words long, on any of the following topics: a. Safe sex for women who are attached. Is it possible? b. How to talk to your kids about sex? c. Is circumcision the new way for men to prevention HIV transmission? d. Microbicides: the invention that puts power back into women's hands. Selection of copywriter Copywriter shall be available for the duration of the project. This is to ensure consistency in the style of writing. Payment schedule Payment shall be made in stages. Below are suggested rates, but this is negotiable. - Approval - 30% - Launch of website with 20 health articles - 50% - 1 year maintenance - final 20%, paid monthly or quarterly
