Sometimes finding the right freelance project can be a time-consuming process. But there are other times when it's easier than you expect. Laura Maria de'Bernardi found work faster than she imagined possible by registering with Freelance Work Exchange.

"I've always dreamed about becoming a freelance-writer," she says. "Finally, I bought a new PC with an Internet connection, and I immediately started looking for work."

Laura searched for telecommuting jobs using a search engine, and came across Go Freelance. She visited our site, and registered on the spot. In the first newsletter she received as a subscriber, she saw an editing position that caught her interest. She applied, and was delighted to win a position as a Contributing Editor.

Having a degree in Ancient Literature, plus experience of Classical Studies, Laura feels she will be able to make a valuable contribution as an editor. Now she is hoping to find additional projects through Go Freelance.
